WANT: Audio annotation recording within Lightroom. I don't want to record audio in a separate program and import it. I want Adobe Lightroom to be able to record my voice from my headset and attach it to a specified set of files, from within Lightroom itself. Plugin support or with Lightroom 3.0, this HAS to happen.

WANT: Recording device. Even an old minidisc player or something, would love to get my hands on an audio recording device. My old Zen used to have really good audio recording, except it died last year. Anyone got an ol'minidisc player or something collecting dust?

GOT : Empty Words graphic novel. By a friend, Benjamin Rivers, this book was my only purchase at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this year. I hem, I haw, and I choose this story about a nurse's aide in the local senior's care centre. Fuck The Bat Man. NOTE: While I got the complete edition with all the books, this is the cover of the second stand alone one.

GOT: Sword&Sworcery EP in a sweet frame. Today, I learned how to matte artwork, and the first test was on a Superbrothers' Sword&Sworcery print I received from Superbrothers himself some time ago. Took awhile to find the frame, and my friend Jon Jarro, a bitchin' awesome painter, taught me how to make my own mattes today.

WANT: A sweet tripod. I actually have one, but it's small and could be a bit sturdier and more manageable. I can always dream of a Gitzo tripod, can't I? And that linked one is the "cheap" version!

GOT: Super Mario 2. I now have all three original NES game cartridges, and they set me back $15 total. "SUPER MARIO DEUX, exclusivement pour le Nintendo!"

WANT: 3D Dot Game Heroes. Look at it. Just look at it. Comes out in May...

GOT: PSP button replacement kit. I'd lost the analog nubbin on my PSP and ordered this kit from Deal Extreme for $2.29. Put a slightly bigger nubbin on (though, the kit includes two original size ones, along with four or five others or varying styles) and also put on one of the d-pad covers, meant to go on top of the original one (which, tactilely, left much to be desired). VERY happy with the feel, and the added bit of bulk is worth it to be able to control it all the better.
WANT: 1000 Awesome Things book. Things like stretching while making weird noises in the morning, sneaking candy into movie theaters, peeing after holding it in forever, and snow ball fights. I would like this book, though, the web site is awesome as well.

WANT: A ray gun. Not just any ray gun, but a custom, made-for-me ray gun. The above is just an example but I want one of my own. The Ry-Tron V1-KEIS (Kills Everything In Sight) Blaster is something every Ryan should have.

WANT: To be able to run outdoors. I used to run outside every day, year round. I had some major knee issues in 2006-2007 that prevented me from continuing and found I was able to run on a treadmill in 2009. I went for an outdoor run yesterday and, fudge, treadmills can't compare to running along the beach. Here's hoping I can keep it up without farking my knee to hell.
GOT: The Phalanx demon's soul. After weeks of playing, I finally made it to the Phalanx demon (AKA the level 1-1 boss) and beat it on the first try. CRIKEY!

GOT: A rad kitty. Toffee keeps me company by warming my head whenever I turn on the PS3. Total video game junkie, she is. She was more of a fan of Persona 4 than I ever was, and she doesn't like it when I curse at Demon's Souls. We're both enjoying Assassin's Creed II, though.

GOT: Eight books from local used shop for $33. It turns out I already had a copy of the Oscar Wilde collection, which I'd assumed had left the building. If anyone wants a copy of his complete works, my spare is yours. Catcher in the Rye was brand new. Read it years ago, figured I'd jump on the bandwagon of JD's passing and re-read it. After I finish the tome that is Anathem, that is.
